Iowa: electricians now need state license

The recently appointed Electrical Examining Board has adopted emergency rules in time to begin business on January 1 as mandated. Individuals holding local journeyman or master electrician licenses issued prior to January 1 may be eligible for a state license without further examination. Read more on the new board's website.
