A new law in Pennsylvania will allow terminally ill patients to try experimental treatments and drugs that have not yet been approved by the FDA. Under the law, healthcare practitioners who recommend the use of an investigational treatment option will be given immunity from professional licensure sanctions related to the recommendation.
