The Professional Standards Authority in the UK has released a paper showcasing the experiences of regulators from five countries in applying right-tough regulation. Based on these experiences, the paper highlights the adaptability and flexibility of the right-tough approach while still providing a clear and consistent framework for problem-solving. Contributors to the report included the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia, College of Veterinarians of Ontario, General Pharmaceutical Council , Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand, CORU Ireland, and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, among others.
