The Federation of State Medical Boards has released data on the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, showing 6.671 licenses issued through July 31, 2019. Twenty-nine states, DC and Guam are members of the Compact. States issuing the most licenses through the Compact are Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arizona and Iowa. States with the most physicians seeking licensure in an additional state through the Compact are Illinois, Colorado, Wisconsin and Arizona.
