The Illinois Legislature is working with the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation on a plan to grant temporary licenses to nursing students and medical students who would be finishing their degrees this spring. The plan may also include authorizing course credits for students who work during the pandemic.
The Ohio Board of Nursing has been approved to issue temporary licenses to nursing students who complete a Board-approved program and background checks.
