The Association of Social Work Boards has been selected to lead the development of a social work licensure compact through a grant from the US Department of Defense to the Council of State Governments National Center for Interstate Compacts. The partners will develop model compact legislation over 12-16 months and will develop a legislative resource kit. Social work regulators are invited to attend a meeting on May 20 to address questions.
